The Oaks Declare His Glory
There are moments in the woods when the heart grows quiet enough to hear what has always been there. The oaks stand in that silence like witnesses, rooted in place, lifted by wind, touched by rain, and marked by every season they have survived. They do not speak with human words, yet they seem to declare something all the same — something steady, holy, and true.
As the Scripture says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork” (Psalm 19:1, KJV). If the heavens can declare His glory, then surely the trees can bear witness too. The oak, with its strength and endurance, reminds us that God is still at work in creation, still teaching, still restoring, still reaching into the lives of those who will listen.
The Allie Institute is built upon that belief: that God’s Word is living, that creation reflects His design, and that healing can come through a prayerful, Bible-based understanding of the living world. This is not occultism, but reverent reflection. It is a way of seeing the land, the trees, and every living thing as part of a sacred testimony to the Creator who made them.
The oaks remind us that faith is often rooted before it is visible. Their strength is not found in speed, but in stillness. Their beauty is not in haste, but in endurance. They stand through storms, shade the weary, and quietly teach us that restoration begins where we are planted.
And so I listen to the oaks. Not as oracles, but as part of God’s creation — living reminders that He who made the trees also knows how to heal the soul, restore the land, and give hope where there has been sorrow.
Founded by Lisa Loucks-Christenson, The Allie Institute is a Christian, Bible-based foundation centered on healing, hope, and restoration through God’s Word and the living testimony of creation.
